Why a page for each trade

A takeaway menu and a solicitor's fee guide are both leaflets, but they share almost nothing else. The takeaway wants 10,000 thin, glossy sheets that land on doormats on a Thursday afternoon and stay on the fridge for a month. The law firm wants 250 heavy, matt-laminated cards that sit in a reception rack, survive being handled by fifty clients and still look sharp. Paper weight, size, finish, quantity, timing and even the rules on what you may say are different for every business, so each trade gets its own page.

On every page you will find the jobs that trade really uses leaflets for, the products we would print for those jobs with their live prices, two to four ready-made packs, sample designs we drew to show how a good layout works, headline and body wording you can copy, a month-by-month guide to when leaflets work hardest for that trade, and a plain checklist of anything you must or must not say before you print.

How the prices on these pages work

Nothing on these pages is a made-up offer. Every price is worked out at the moment the page loads by the same pricing engine that runs the product pages and the basket, so if a price changes on a product it changes here too. A pack is simply a list of real products with exact options and quantities; we add up their prices and show the total. There is no bundle discount, and we never show a crossed-out price.

Delivery to a UK mainland address is £7.95 per order and nothing once the print in your basket reaches £100, so a pack that crosses that line shows free delivery. The working days shown are for the standard Saver speed; faster speeds are offered on each product page with their own price.

Sample designs, not templates

The designs on each trade page are samples we made to show what goes where: what belongs on the front, what to put on the back, where the call to action and contact details sit, and how a fold changes the reading order. The business names are invented and obviously so, and phone numbers use the ranges Ofcom keeps for drama, so nothing points at a real firm.

If you like a layout, send us your logo, wording and photos through the Artwork and Design Service and we will set it up for you, or build it yourself in the free online designer on the product page.

Check your file before it prints

Every file you upload is checked automatically for size, bleed and resolution, and anything that would print blurred or cropped is stopped before you pay. If you would like a person to look over the file and fix small problems, add File check for £4.99 and we hold the order until it is right.

  • Leave 3 mm bleed on every edge and keep text 4 mm inside the trim.
  • Use photos at 300 dpi at the size they print; phone photos are usually fine at A6 and A5.
  • On folded leaflets, the panel that faces the reader first is not always the one on the left of your file: check the fold diagram on the product page.

Can't see your trade?

New trades are added as they are written. If yours is not here yet, use the quote form or WhatsApp us with what you do and what the leaflet is for, and a person will suggest the right size, paper and quantity and send you a price.

Questions about leaflets by trade

Are the pack prices discounted?

No. A pack is a list of real products at their normal live prices, added up for you. Ordering the items separately costs exactly the same, and one delivery charge covers the whole basket.

Can I change the quantities in a pack?

Yes. Each line links to its product page, where you can change the size, paper, quantity or speed and see the new price straight away.

Can you design my leaflet?

Yes. Our Artwork and Design Service can typeset your wording onto a clean layout or design a leaflet from scratch, and the online designer on each product page is free to use.

How quickly will my leaflets arrive?

Each product page shows the working days for every speed before you pay. Saver costs least; faster speeds cost more. The delivery page explains courier timings.

Do the trade pages give legal advice?

No. The before-you-print checklists point out the marketing rules printers see trip people up most often, with links to the regulator. Always check the current guidance with your own regulator or professional body before you print.

Can I order a sample before a big run?

Most leaflet products start at 25 or 50 copies, so the simplest proof is a short run of the same file on the same paper before you order the full quantity.
