Overview
Hardback book printing gives you a book that lasts: a rigid casebound cover around the pages, the format used for photo books, company histories, cookbooks, children's books, anniversary books and premium catalogues. It feels like something to keep on a shelf rather than a brochure to recycle.
Sizes
A5 portrait is the classic novel and memoir size. A4 portrait suits reports, yearbooks and catalogues. A5 and A4 landscape are popular for photo books and children's books, and the 210mm square works for art, wedding and portfolio books.

Choose 40 to 192 inner pages in steps of four. Nine papers are available:

Cover
The printed cover is 170gsm or 200gsm silk art paper wrapped around rigid board, laminated matt or gloss on one side to protect it. Matt suits photography and design books; gloss makes bright covers pop.
Quantities
Order 25, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500, 750 or 1,000. The price per book falls as the run grows and is shown live as you choose pages and paper.
Artwork
Supply the inner pages as one PDF of single pages in reading order with 3mm bleed, plus a cover file. The cover wraps round the board and needs a spine; its width depends on your page count and paper, so contact us for the cover template. Upload a print-ready file when you order. Every upload gets an automatic check for size, resolution and bleed, and our leaflet design service can be added at checkout if you would rather we set it up.
Timing and delivery
Saver production is 9 working days on the opening options; quicker speeds are in the price box. Delivery to a UK mainland address costs £7.95 for the whole order, and nothing once the printing in your basket reaches £100.
