Covers and paper
Stapled booklets can have a self cover in the same paper or a heavier silk card cover, with matt or gloss lamination. Perfect bound covers can also be soft touch. Inside pages range from 90gsm smooth white, which is easy to write on, to 170gsm silk for photographs.

Send one PDF of single pages in reading order, each with 3mm bleed, and a page count that matches your order. The artwork guidelines explain the rest, and our design service can lay it out for you. UK mainland delivery is £7.95 an order, and free once the printing in your basket reaches £100.

How many pages can a booklet have?
Stapled booklets run from 8 to 48 pages, perfect bound from 40 to 88, and wiro bound from 60 to 104, all in steps of four.
What is the difference between a booklet and a brochure?
In printing the words mean much the same thing. A brochure usually sells something; a booklet is any small bound document. Both are made the same way here.
Do you print hardback books?
Yes. Casebound hardbacks in A5, A4 or 210mm square, 40 to 192 pages, from 25 copies.
Which binding lies flat?
Wiro binding lies completely flat and folds back on itself, which suits manuals and workbooks.
Why must pages be a multiple of four?
Each sheet folded in half makes four pages, so booklet page counts go up in fours.
Can I order a single booklet?
Yes, heavyweight stapled booklets start at 1 copy. Other booklets start at 25.
How long does booklet printing take?
Saver production is 5 to 13 working days depending on the booklet; each product shows its own time.
