Cleaning flyers, door hangers and price leaflets for domestic, end-of-tenancy and office cleaning
Domestic cleaners mostly print A5 flyers on 170gsm gloss for door drops, door hangers for streets where they already clean, and A6 cards for noticeboards and letting agents; office cleaners add a folded A5 leaflet to leave at reception. This page shows which product suits each job, live prices, ready-made packs, sample layouts, wording and the months when cleaning leaflets bring the most calls.
Cleaning is a trust purchase and a route business. People let you into their home with a key, and you make money when the houses are close enough to clean three in a morning. Good cleaning print speaks to both: it shows who you are, and it is aimed at streets where you already work.
Regular domestic door drops
A5 flyers to owner-occupied streets with families and couples who both work. The offer is a weekly or fortnightly clean by the same person, on the same weekday, with your own products or theirs.
Door hangers near current clients
A hanger on the doors around each house you clean: 'We clean for one of your neighbours every Thursday.' It is local, specific and fills gaps in the round.
End-of-tenancy and move-out cleans
A6 cards and DL price cards left with letting agents, landlords and removal firms, who are asked every week who can do a deposit-back clean.
Office and commercial cleaning
A folded leaflet handed in at reception or posted to the office manager, covering hours, frequency, what is included, insurance and how you handle keys and alarms.
Holiday let changeovers
A short card for owners of holiday lets and short-term rentals: changeover times, linen, restocking, and how you report damage between guests.
One-off deep cleans
Spring cleans, pre-sale cleans, after-builders cleans and oven cleaning, promoted at the times of year people think about them.
Client information card
A card left after the first clean with your contact details, the cleaning day, what to do about keys and holidays, and how to pay.
Recommended leaflets for cleaners
What we would print for a cleaning business. The 'from' price is today's live price for the lowest-cost options; the example line is a real configuration cleaners order for that job.
Space for a friendly photo, the services, your area and a short price guide. 170gsm feels like a proper flyer through the letterbox and keeps the cost per door low.
Three packs: building a domestic round street by street, winning end-of-tenancy work through agents, and approaching offices. Each pack is a set of real products added up at today's prices.

Domestic round starter
For a new domestic cleaner or a small team building a round: flyers for a first drop, hangers for the streets around early clients, and cards to leave after each first clean.
Drop 1,000 flyers first, then the rest a month later in the streets that replied.
Saver speed, about 8 working days for the slowest item. Prices are the live Saver prices for exactly these options. Order each item from its own page; one delivery charge covers the basket.
Leave a stack of cards with each agent and a few DL price flyers they can hand to departing tenants.
Saver speed, about 6 working days for the slowest item. Prices are the live Saver prices for exactly these options. Order each item from its own page; one delivery charge covers the basket.
100 leaflets is plenty for hand-delivering to one business park or high street at a time.
Saver speed, about 7 working days for the slowest item. Prices are the live Saver prices for exactly these options. Order each item from its own page; one delivery charge covers the basket.
Three layouts we drew for invented cleaning companies. Each one answers the questions people actually have before letting a cleaner in: who, when, what is included and what it costs.
These are sample designs we made to show layout and wording. The business names, numbers and addresses are invented.

Use a photo of a clean, real room, not a person in a pristine apron grinning at a spray bottle.
Cleaning copy should be specific about the person, the day and the jobs. Avoid long lists of adjectives about sparkle; say what gets cleaned and what it costs. Replace the bracketed parts.

[Name] cleans homes in [area] every week or fortnight. You get the same cleaner each visit, on the same weekday, working to a jobs list we agree with you at a free home visit. We bring our own products and equipment or use yours, we are insured, and you pay by bank transfer after each clean.
Moving out? Our end-of-tenancy clean covers kitchens, ovens, bathrooms, skirting, inside cupboards and windows from the inside, worked through against the checklist letting agents use. Book a date, leave the keys and we will send photos when it is done. If the agent flags anything we cleaned, we come back to sort it.

If you call your products eco-friendly or non-toxic, be able to back the claim up; vague green claims can break consumer law.

When, where and how many
Domestic cleaning sells steadily all year, with a few clear peaks. End-of-tenancy work follows the rental calendar.
January and March to April are peak for regular domestic cleaning and spring cleans. September brings back-to-work households and student move-outs; late June to August is busy for end-of-tenancy work in university towns.
When to drop
Early January, mid March and early September for domestic rounds. End-of-tenancy cards to letting agents ahead of the summer move-out season. Office leaflets any time except the last two weeks of December. Allow the Saver working days shown on the product page plus delivery.
How many
A sole cleaner can fill a week with perhaps fifteen to twenty-five regular homes, so a first drop of 1,000 to 2,500 flyers in the right streets is often enough. A team adding a cleaner should plan a fresh drop for each new person's area.
Where
Owner-occupied semis and detached houses within a short drive of each other, roads around current clients, retirement areas and new-build estates. Cards with letting agents, estate agents and removal companies. Office leaflets by hand to reception, asking for the office or facilities manager by name.
What response to expect
Cleaning door drops typically bring a few enquiries per thousand homes, rising towards one in a hundred in streets near existing clients or with a door hanger. One regular client is worth a year of fortnightly cleans, so judge print by clients won, not calls taken.
Paper, size and finish for cleaners
Cleaning print should look as clean as the work: plenty of white space, crisp type, and stock that does not curl or crease.

White and one fresh colour (teal, blue, green) reads as clean. Avoid busy bubble backgrounds behind text: they make prices and phone numbers hard to read.
Silk card takes a ballpoint, which matters for client cards where you write the cleaning day and the cleaner's name.
Questions about leaflets for cleaners
What should a cleaning flyer include?
Your area, the type of cleaning (regular domestic, end-of-tenancy, office), how often you visit, what is included, a price guide by house size or hours, whether you are insured, and how to book a free home visit. A real photo of you or your team builds trust quickly.
How many flyers should a new cleaner deliver?
Start with 1,000 to 2,500 A5 flyers in streets close together, plus 250 door hangers for the roads around your first clients. A sole cleaner only has room for a limited number of homes, so a tight area beats a wide scatter and keeps travel time down.
When is the best time to post cleaning leaflets?
January, March to April and early September are the strongest months for regular domestic cleaning. End-of-tenancy work peaks from late June to September in university towns and around the end of most tenancies, so get cards to letting agents before then.
Do door hangers work for cleaners?
They work well on the streets where you already clean. A hanger saying you clean for a neighbour on a set weekday is local and believable, and adding a nearby house costs you almost no travel time, so you can price it attractively.
Should I put prices on my cleaning flyer?
A short price guide helps: an hourly rate or prices by house size and frequency. It filters out people expecting a much lower price and reassures the rest. Add 'from' only when the lowest price is one a normal home can actually get.
What do offices want to see in a cleaning leaflet?
Cleaning hours, what is done on each visit, how keys and alarm codes are handled, insurance, who supervises the work and how to get a quote. A four-page A5 leaflet gives room for all of it without looking like a door-drop flyer.
Can you design my cleaning leaflet?
Yes. Send your services, area, prices and photos through our Artwork and Design Service. Every upload is checked automatically for size, bleed and resolution, and File check (£4.99) adds a person reviewing your file before it prints. We can match a flyer, door hanger and client card to one design.
